I am Vaibhav Upadhyay, a fourth-year Interdisciplinary dual degree program student in the Department of Systems & Controls at the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay. My research interests lie in exploring the viability properties of dynamical evolutions and the optimal control of nonlinear systems with viability constraints, with a particular focus on geometric methods. As a hobby, I enjoy capturing the beauty of the flora around me through photography. Some of my favorite shots can be viewed here. My research interests lie in the field of applied mathematics, with a particular emphasis on the following areas:
-
Constrained Optimal Control
-
Differential Geometry
-
Approximation Theory
-
Partial Differential Equations
-
Numerical Optimization
